Holiday in same country

Posted by Ryan

Usually people like to go on holiday ina foreign country. The decision to travel abroad is based on several considerations, including: ‘escaping the country’ for a while, the climate of the country, the history of the country and the scenic views of the country in question. There are those though, whom prefer a holiday within the same country.

This might sound strange as they wouldn’t be escaping the countries climate (maybe by a few degrees), though they would be visiting new locations. For example, a Yorkshireman, sick of the rain and coldness of the North, may like to venture to Brighton, one of the hottest areas in England, as it’s cheaper than travelling abroad and is somewhere new to visit.

Rush before holidays…

Posted by Ryan

One of the most difficult preparations for a holiday isn’t booking the holiday, or even saving for it; it is trying to remember to bring every last item that you’ll need for the holiday. Sure, some of us like to think we are fairly organised, but everyone gets frantic about whether they have forgotten something or not.

Commonly forgotten items include: clothes, sunglasses, currency, jewellery and mp3 players. The reason people get frantic is because they are going away for a week, and most items people possess they couldn’t live without, or would heavily prefer not to. This is why it is always a benefit to write a list, at least for the most disorganised amongst us.

Why do we like beaches so much!?

Posted by Ryan

Many would think, what would a holiday be like without a beach!?

Almost every holiday destination features a part of the ocean in which people can bathe in, swim in or simply relax by. Not every holiday however, offers this. In some parts of the Middle-East, there is no sea, as it is almost desert, same with holiday destinations in the UK. Some holiday goers prefer this. Tourists in particular travel to visit ancient history and monuments, with the beach bearing little significance in this.

It would be a fair bet though to assume most travellers would like a beach, as it is one of the places where you can find the utmost tranquility.

2wenty’s Holidays

Posted by Ryan

2wenty’s are an established company in which young holiday party goers, between the age of 20-30 and book a holiday, and enjoy the amount of entertainment on offer. 2Wenty’s have hotels all over the world, though the places in which they are almost always are party destinations, including: Ibiza, Malia, Magaluf, Egypt, Ayia Napa, and Kavos.

Upon arriving to their holiday destination, the holiday travellers are told to get to a meeting where upon an explanation of the Island is given, as well as brochures of events and nights out for them (which can sound decent, but also be very expensive). The hotel where the travellers stay at are always top notch, offering scenic views and great entertainment.
