Usually people like to go on holiday ina foreign country. The decision to travel abroad is based on several considerations, including: ‘escaping the country’ for a while, the climate of the country, the history of the country and the scenic views of the country in question. There are those though, whom prefer a holiday within the same country.
This might sound strange as they wouldn’t be escaping the countries climate (maybe by a few degrees), though they would be visiting new locations. For example, a Yorkshireman, sick of the rain and coldness of the North, may like to venture to Brighton, one of the hottest areas in England, as it’s cheaper than travelling abroad and is somewhere new to visit.
