Spain is a favourite holiday destination for many of us Brits. With its warm weather, nice food and with it being just a short flight away, it’s hard to blame anyone. When people think of Spain, they think of flamenco dancing, castanets, siestas and seafood paella.

Of course, there’s more to Spain than just this! Guaranteed you’ll fall in love with the Spanish way of life with its buzzing lifestyle yet laid back way of life. There’s so many Spanish destinations to choose from, from energetic Benidorm to cool Marbella and the beautiful Spanish islands, you’re spoilt for choice.

With one final bank holiday looming on us, what will you be doing for it? If the weather makes a turn for the better, (meaning not raining) then I reckon many of us will be getting the barbecue out and having a final barbecue before we call it the end of summer.

If you don’t fancy a barbecue, or if the weather stays wet then why not head down to your local art gallery? You’ll be surprised just how much fun you will have; there’s always a new exhibition on every quarter at least and don’t forget the cafe, they’re usually filled with yummy cakes and delicious drinks, so treat your family to a day out.

Luckily though, we are spoilt for choice and with so many bargain holidays to select from. Holidays to the Caribbean especially in the Winter is a popular choice with British travellers. Not only have holiday companies slashed the prices of holiday packages to dreamy destinations such as Grenada, Barbados and St. Lucia, it’s just great to escape the wintry weather we have to put up with year after year. Best thing about away going in winter is being able to get a holiday booked for the kids too.

Holiday in Sardinia

Posted by Ryan

After just over a week in Sardinia, I can safely say that it’s one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean. It’s one of the largest islands in the Med, after Sicily and before Cyprus. It’s an Italian island above Sicily and south of the French island of Corsica. Beaches are aplenty, seas are clear, seafood and fish are in abundance. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday, lazing by the sea then Sardinia is the perfect place to visit. However, if you fancy walks and sight seeing, it’s also a great choice. With old buildings inspired through Spanish history, don’t forget to take a ferry trip across to the French island of Corsica, not to be missed.
