A self catering holiday is where you pay for the holiday, and then pay for your own food and drink, whether It be from the hotel or elsewhere. The advantage of a self catering holiday is that you can explore various restaurants and bars as you aren’t constrained to the hotel (as you would in an all inclusive).
The disadvantage of a self catering holiday, is that you would most likely spend more money, due to having to buy the food and drink constantly, which may also include travel there and back to supermarkets, café’s and other food selling places.
